About Chandy College of Polytechnic
CHANDY POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE – THOOTHUKUDI is a self financing institution, approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to Directorate of Technical Education (DOTE), Chennai. It’s being run by Pitchandy Poornamalaiammal Trust, Muthiapuram, Thoothukudi. Our Chandy polytechnic college was started in the year 2005. Our other esteemed groups of institution are

The Prime Objective of our institute is to provide quality education to students belonging to economically weaker and downtrodden sections of society. It has been set up with an aim to achieve technological excellence in rural area and it is permitted to offer three years Diploma in engineering to eligible students selected as per the norms of Government of Tamilnadu. It is to follow the syllabus, curriculum and evaluation system prescribed by the DOTE, Chennai. It is comply with the rules and regulations of the state government of Tamilnadu.
Our Polytechnic College intends to offer need based formal and non-formal programs to the needy in emerging areas. It earnestly strives to build close rapport with industries in order to have a mutually beneficial relationship. It aspires to inculcate the motto of our polytechnic “To Learn in a Humble Way and to Reach Lofty Heights through Hard work” in the blossoming minds of young engineers. It also aim at developing the overall personality of students to make them as competent work force. Its our earnest desire to promote this institution as a center of excellence in imparting technical education.
